About the Program
GRADUATE PROGRAM IN ACCOUNTING – UFSC
The Graduate Program in Accounting (PPGC) at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) was created in 2004. It offers a Master’s degree in Accounting since 2004 and a Doctoral degree in Accounting since 2013.
The PPGC has one area of concentration – “Controllership and Governance“ – and two lines of research – “Management Control and Performance Evaluation” and “Financial Accounting and Governance” – which cover the areas of expertise of the faculty members and guide the work of the master’s and doctoral students in the Program.
In the last evaluation (2017-2020) by the Brazilian Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), the PPGC-UFSC has obtained grade 5 (out of 7).
