The Graduate Program in Accounting (PPGC) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) offers a Master’s and a doctoral degree program in Accounting, both graded 5 (out of 7) by the Brazilian Coordenation for the Improvement of Higher Education Personal (CAPES).
PPGC has a strong national and international reputation. Professors from Brazilian and international universities visit us frequently to establish partnerships. Our participation in national and international conferences also strengthens our interaction with other graduate programs.

Our program has several collaboration and cooperation agreements with foreign universities, and we encourage our students to do part of their degrees at an international university. This is an excellent opportunity to meet new cultures, understand other research realities and establish new connections.
Some of our faculty members have done postdoctorated research in foreign universities and have connections abroad, which can ease the mobility process. Meet our faculty and the topics they research.
We also organize a conference annually to present our research and to receive graduate and undergraduate students from other universities to learn more about the topics our faculty is researching. Watch the video from the 2019 conference.
If you join our program, you will participate in workshops taught by our graduate students. They organize these workshop to share de knowledge they obtain in their course of studies. In the future, will you teach one of these workshops?
